Jewelry Designer Saskia Larraz has an eye for fine art. Named after Rembrandt’s wife, Saskia grew up surrounded by beautiful paintings. Her father is a celebrated painter and sculptor and her mother is an accomplished multi-media artist. Fueled by world travels and a genuine love of nature, Saskia, who is a graduate of Prescott College and also holds a master’s degree in Education from Goddard College, is inherently creative. Before Saskia became a jewelry designer, she practiced other artistic mediums including clothing design and photography. Her eye for the feminine aesthetic led her to focus on making jewelry. Saskia’s most recent designs are mostly made from highly polished Czech glass beads. The pieces Saskia creates are all original designs and each one is handcrafted. After many years of living all over the Western United States and Mexico, Saskia now lives with her family in New Marlborough Massachusetts.
