Medicine Buddha Gardens, a small herb farm in the Berkshires, provides medicinal plants, culinary herbs, and herbal products. Founded by Krysia Kurzyca on Sheffield Land Trust land, it is the first Community Supported Agriculture venture in the Berkshires of its kind. We use strictly organic, sustainable practices when growing and caring for our plants, adhering to higher standards than certification requires (we are not certified). We also work with locally sourced, wildcrafted herbs and medicinal fungi. We hand pick our plants with care and gratitude, then carefully dry and process them. We formulate and make all our products ourselves with the intention of bringing local, homegrown healing to you – to support your health and wellbeing.
Medicine Buddha Botanicals is the first medicinal plant CSA in the Berkshires. It provides its members with local herbal products. Shares consist of healing tinctures and salves, as well as syrups, pesto (wildcrafted ramps, dandelion, nettles, chickweed), herbal salts, culinary herbs, facial masks, and creams, all depending on availability.
Participating in this CSA will allow you to engage in living harmoniously with the seasons, as the herbal teas and tinctures you receive address seasonal issues, including immunity (fall and winter), allergies (summer), and detoxification (spring).
