Blackberry River Bistro & Bakery

Opened in the summer of 2018, the bistro was established to provide delicious, from-scratch, nothin’ fancy, just delicious food and excellent beer to Canaan and the surrounding towns. Living right in the center of town, Sam and Audrey had long wished there was a good takeout spot nearby, even better if it served up a good drink to go along with it. When the space became available they jumped at the chance to open a little dinner place to try to provide something they’d been craving in town.

When it’s open, the bakery serves made-from-scratch pastries, breakfast & lunch. I’m still baking lots of pastries and making custom cakes to order. We hope to re-open the bakery sometime this summer, but in the meantime, you can find us slingin’ burritos and other tasty stuff at the Bistro.
