At Bigfoot Farm, I grow a wide variety of vegetables for the farmers’ market and local restaurants. I am amped to begin my fifth season on my one acre farm in South Williamstown!
I never use herbicides or pesticides and I strive to make my growing practices as sustainable and regenerative as possible. I do most of the labor by hand, without the use of a tractor, and use lots of compost, cover crops, and certified organic soil amendments. Being outdoors everyday, watching plants grow into food, and keeping an eye on the birds, literally makes my job the best.
I also love seeing the community come together at the farmers’ market each week, as we all strive to support a better world that we can actually taste!
