Entry to Entrepreneurship Showcase

Celebrate the achievements of this year's graduates of Entry to Entrepreneurship as they present their business plans to the public and receive awards of 200 BerkShares each. Refreshments will be provided. Free admission, donations appreciated. Presentations and reception will take place at Dewey Hall, 91 Main Street, Sheffield, MA 01257.

Collective Courage: A History of African American Cooperative Thought and Practice

BerkShares, Inc. is pleased to help sponsor this talk by Professor Jessica Gordon Nembhard about the African American history of cooperative economic thought and practice, in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The talk will take place from 12 to 1 pm at the First Congregational Church, 251 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA, with a reception and community conversation to follow.

Workshop: Bringing Local Business to Morningside w/Morningside Up

On Tuesday, November 15th, we are co-presenting a free dinner and workshop at La Fogata to generate ideas for food and art-based businesses in the Morningside neighborhood of Pittsfield. Join the Morningside Up coalition in this workshop as we embark on a Rapid Business Build Out process, identifying local business opportunities and then working together to develop them.
